Action-Packed Content Coming Soon

I haven’t really been up to much since my winter break started, so I’m running out of things to blog about. The only things I’ve been doing lately are reprogramming portions of my website, planning out more content for the future, watching YouTube videos, playing competitive Tetris a little bit, and watching our family business.

I do have a few interesting things coming up in the near future, though. This Thursday afternoon, I’ll be headed over to your best friend Ed Lam’s house to make another video for you. He’s such a fan-favorite that I’m thinking about handing over my entire website over to him because you guys like him so much.

… Before you start sending me messages, no, I’m just kidding.

Sometime next week, Ben Chow, Ed Lam, and I will be going to Buffalo Wild Wings again and filming another video like we did last year. I’m not sure if Ben will have any interesting stories like he did last year, like the one about how he got fired from his job because he put pizza and salt in the ice cream section, but I’m sure something intriguing will happen.

A Beast of a Hamburger

Today, I ate the largest hamburger that I think I’ve ever had in my entire life.

It was from a Mexican restaurant across the street from our family business called Azteca Restaurant, and they call it the Durango burger. It tastes almost exactly like a Whopper from Burger King, but it’s a lot bigger (almost twice the size), a lot fresher, and it has fresh mushrooms in it.

I wanted to take a picture of it, but I was already 70% done with it when I remembered, so that’s why the picture is of a partially-eaten burger.

Durango Burger

It doesn’t look that delicious because I took the photo with my iPod in a low-light setting, but it was probably the one of the best hamburgers I’ve ever had.

If you want to check them out, their website is http://www.aztecamex.com.

Pecan Pie is Difficult to Cut

Happy Christmas.

I learned something today.

I learned that pecan pie is extremely difficult to cut.

If you just bring a knife down on the pie as if you were cutting a regular pie, all the pecans get pushed away from the knife and you end up with a huge strip in your pie where there are no pecans.

If you try too hard to make sure you cut the pecans at the same time as cutting the pie, you’ll forget to cut the pie, then when you go back to cut the bottom part of the pie, the pecans will have moved to a different location and you’ll end up cutting each pecan more than once, and you’ll end up with diced pecans rather than cut pecans.

Does this sound confusing?

Well it’s as confusing as it sounds.

Lonely Shopping Cart

I’m currently at our family business being bored. Today is Christmas Eve, so we’re closing early, but I still have to wait for all our customers to finish before I can close down.

Our parking lot is almost empty except for a few cars belonging to a few remaining customers, and a lonely shopping cart in the middle of nowhere from the supermarket next door.

I’m going to go tidy up and get ready to leave now.

New Gas Station

I am now back in my home town in Illinois.

After coming back home, I stopped by our family business with my mom. On the way there, I noticed that there was a new gas station that was constructed while I was gone for the fall semester.

New Gas Station

The picture is blurry because I took it from a moving vehicle.

This new gas station is currently wtfpwning all the competition because its price per gallon is about 20 to 30 cents below other local competitors. As of right now, it’s even lower than the price at Sam’s Club, which almost always has the lowest gas prices because it’s a membership-only store.

I’M DONE

HI HUMANS.

I’M DONE.

I finished my last final exam today.

Unfortunately, this means I no longer have an excuse to slack off on everything else now. I currently have over 200 unanswered emails sitting in my inbox piling up from the last handful of days because I’ve been too busy to answer them.

As of right now, it’s been over seven hours since I got back to my apartment, and I still haven’t gotten started answering emails.

But don’t tell anyone.

And if you happen to be one of the people who are waiting for a response from me…

Hey look, it’s a distraction! I have another mediocre photograph for you!
