Earlier today, my buddy Simon and I went to Lifetime Fitness to guest instruct martial arts. Because I have an all-in-one exercise machine at home, and because I’m not much of a fancy exerciser (meaning, I’d rather use dumbbells and run outdoors instead of using weight machines and treadmills), I never go to gyms. So, this is the first time I’ve ever been to a real membership gym before.
It was pretty awesome.
This is the waiting area just outside of the studio in which we taught martial arts.
This is a view of the parking lot from a third-floor window.
This is the exercise area in which we taught tae kwon do.
The studio we used was a multi-purpose room; this is the equipment on the side of the room, used for other exercises.
Finally, I looked out one of the windows of our classroom to see this massive pool outside.
Although membership for this gym isn’t anything I would ever pay for, because I’m fine with my conservative methods of exercising myself, it was still a pretty interesting experience, and definitely a place I would visit again if I was re-invited.
