Now I can relive my years as a middle school kid

Fall Out Boy was ranked as one of my top favorite bands when I was younger.

And they still are.

I was pretty disappointed when they went on indefinite hiatus back in 2009, but for some reason, just the way that it was publicized left a small glimmer of hope inside me, a tiny hint that, after some time of unwinding, they would be back.

And now they are.

This is probably the most excited I’ve been in quite a bit. Fall Out Boy was one of those bands whose music I liked 100% – every single song on their album appealed to me in some way. Of course, there are a handful of bands where I like almost all their music, but Fall Out Boy’s albums seemed to be as close to perfection as possible.

So how do I get ready for this? I’ve been listening to all of their old music pretty much non-stop since I found out about their return, reliving the memories of when I first started listening to them, and preparing me for the epicness that is about to come.
