Ordering at McDonald’s fail
This morning, I went to McDonald’s to buy some breakfast before heading over to the psychology building on main campus to eat and get ready for class.Normally, it would be a relatively quick and easy process – I would order my food, swipe my credit card, wait off to the side, and get my food. But today, it took a while for that relatively easy process to even get started. The man in front of me, who was ordering a ridiculously large breakfast for having only one body, seemed like he didn’t really understand the premise of ordering at a fast food restaurant. As expected, after he was done stating his order to the cashier, he asked the customer if he wanted the food “for here or to go” – to eat inside the restaurant, or prepared so he can take it with him.The man’s answer was, “yes.”The cashier, assuming that the man didn’t hear him properly, asked him again, “for here or to go?”Again, the man responds, “yes.”At this point, the cashier looks a bit confused, looks around at the other people around him, then decides to hit the “to go” option and finish the man’s order.Once it got to my turn, I was considering trolling the cashier and answering his question with “yes” also, but then decided that he was probably already confused enough, and I didn’t want his brains on my breakfast after his mind gets blown. So I said I wanted my food to go.(Good guy Adam)
