I am officially done with all my classes for Summer 2012.

I’ve been done with my online literature course since last week when I posted my last response paper about Waiting for Godot. Today, I took my last quiz and submitted my final paper for my on-campus class, and took my last exam and submitted my final paper for my other online class.

This means that I’ll have quite a bit more time to do things with the time I originally spent taking classes and doing homework. One high-priority thing that I really need to work on getting done is my website migration – I started it months ago, but the process got so tedious and uninviting that I have about 150-200 pages remaining that I still have to transfer over to the new content management system (on the bright side, I’ve finished transferring somewhere around 500-600 pages so far). I once again modified the expected completion date in the notice on the sidebar of the website to the end of August; this should be the last time I extend that date, as if I don’t finish it by then, I’ll end up not having any time left to finish it up because, by September, I’ll be back in school.

Another thing that I will definitely be doing with my extra time is making more League of Legends champion skin previews. The Battlecast Cho’Gath preview I made got a surprisingly high amount of search engine traffic from Google, and has set a new explosive traffic record for my website in terms of first-day release traffic (meaning, no other page has gotten so many views as that one within the first 24 hours of it being released). Checking Google Analytics, the traffic on that page has been steeply declining, especially because Battlecast Cho’Gath has already been released. I’m not 100% sure if that page had a high level of interest simply because Battlecast Cho’Gath is a legendary skin and a new skin for Cho’Gath was long-awaited, or if people are just interested in seeing champion skin previews; I’ll find out by making more in the future and seeing if the patterns persist.
