In other news, one of my buddies who is taking classes at the same community college that I will be taking classes at later this summer informed me that most people there are stupid and the classes there are a joke. I’m not sure if that’s a good thing or a bad thing. The Daily Post at WordPress.comTopic #113: Should schools control what kids eat for lunch? Some schools in Chicago now ban lunches from home for health reasons – kids either eat the school food, or nothing. What do you think about this?I’m pretty indifferent about if schools should control what children should eat for lunch, and I don’t think I have enough background information about this issue to make a valid judgment about if it’s something good or not.In a way, it’s a good thing that schools are moderating eating habits of children because eating healthy while young could enforce healthy eating habits in the future. As we all know, America is way too fat, and if students bring lunches from home, the stupidity of the fat adults will obviously be projected onto the types of lunches they make for their children. On the other hand, taking away the autonomy of being able to choose what one eats for lunch might cause a lot of opposition. Although nutrition specialists make sure the school food is made so it meets the needs of the children, the fat parents might think that it is insufficient, or that their children need to eat more unhealthy food to become more fat like them.So for the good of the future and to reduce the number of fat people, it’s obvious that professionals should take over food service for students, but an attempt to do good might lead to much more negative results, like students not eating at all as a display of protest and becoming frail. It would’ve been helpful if I had seen that sign earlier. After I finished packing everything up, my parents arrived in Madison and we started loading the car. My mom helped me out a bit, but overall, it took about half an hour to get everything to fit in the car. I ended up sitting in the back corner with a guitar in my face and storage boxes pushing me toward the door. After I finally arrived back at home, I stepped out of the car and took a picture. I originally did so to add it to the foursquare listing for my subdivision, but I decided to throw it up on Flickr and my blog as well.
And the remainder of the day was spent slowly unpacking everything and sitting around resting and attempting to recover from the dizziness resulting from the car ride. The Daily Post at WordPress.comTopic #112: Describe the unhealthiest meal youâve ever eaten. How did you feel afterwards? Did you eat it by choice? Did others eat it with you? Under what circumstances would you do it again?I eat unhealthy meals once in a while, but I don’t think I’ve ever eaten a meal so unhealthy that it would be considered the unhealthiest meal I’ve ever eaten. Whenever I eat unhealthy meals, I don’t really feel any different. I realize that a lot of people feel bad or angry with themselves because they know they’re harming their own bodies by eating excessively bad foods, but I don’t feel that way at all because I stay skinny regardless of how much fat I eat.
