I actually had no desire to post a blog entry today, but I’m doing it anyway.I spent most of today at our laundromat – I arrived at 8 AM to open up and left at around 7:40 PM when my mom came to take over for the rest of the night. Our employee’s on a one-week vacation, so my mom, my dad, and I have been alternating and watching the laundromat whenever we get several hours of consecutive free time.I actually had an easy day today until about 5 PM. Our steady stream of customers were able to manage themselves well, and the few questions they had for me were easily answered. Then, at around 5 PM, a family came with their three kids.To make it even worse, about half an hour later, another family came with another three kids. There were six ridiculous and stupid little kids running around and making a disastrous mess for about two hours while their parents were doing laundry.While they were there, they spilled so much stuff on the floor that I ended up sweeping the floor seven times and mopping the floor four times. The kids also randomly went in and out through an emergency door, so I had to go from the office to the emergency door to make them stop. Eventually, I was walking back and forth from the office and the emergency door so much that I thought it would just be better if I sat down in a chair next to the door.I swear, if a television advertisement producer was nearby, he would’ve been ecstatic. I’m Asian and the little kids were Mexican, but if that wasn’t the case and we were all the same race, I’m sure the producer could’ve set up the commercial so it looked like I was the teenage father of six mentally insecure and insane kids, and made an awesome condom commercial out of it.I’m back at the laundromat tomorrow, and as long as there’s not another herd of children, I think I’ll be fine. I prepared some stuff to do tomorrow, and hopefully that’ll be enough to keep me occupied. I have a highly-recommended movie ready to watch, a pending Pokémon episode from this past Saturday that I’ll be doing a plot summary on, some RuneScape/Jagex articles I have to catch up on, and some other miscellaneous critical analysis articles on topics selected by my readers.That’s all for now.
