The Perfect Sunday

Topic #26: What’s your idea for a perfect Sunday? How would it differ from a typical Sunday? If it’s Sunday where you are, what kind of day is it so far?
A perfect Sunday for me, or any perfect day in general, would consist of not having to worry about getting anything done throughout the day. I would be relieved of all responsibilities and not have to be concerned about fulfilling any requirements during the day. Instead of spending the day doing things that I am expected or need to do, I would do things that would ultimately have no value of me in the future. For example, I might spend the entire day watching YouTube videos, sleeping, eating, and programming new things for my website (even though adding more stuff to my website would end up being beneficial in the long run).
I don’t think that it’s possible for me to experience a perfect Sunday (or any other perfect day) because of how many responsibilities I have. Because of the attention I have to put into various things like academics, work, and other involvements, fulfilling particular responsibilities is always in the back of my mind, and when I have free time, I always think about how I can finish something I have to do.
A typical Sunday actually involves more tending to responsibilities than any regular weekday because I have no classes and can use a majority of the day to stay in my apartment. Generally, I use my Sundays to catch up on work that I didn’t get to finish during the weekdays or try to get ahead for the following week so I don’t have such a difficult time later on. Today is another typical Sunday – I spent a majority of the day reading documents and textbooks for my classes, reviewing things I did in my classes during this past week, and reading ahead for things I have to finish in the next few days.
